TIGUNNY / Scoped delivery
Fractional CTO
Scoped technical leadership for priorities, architecture, delivery decisions, risk, and operating ownership.
When this can help
Important technology decisions span business priorities, architecture, delivery, security, and cost, but the organization may not need or be ready for another full-time executive. A fractional CTO engagement adds defined leadership around an agreed decision or operating need.
How the work is scoped
- Clarify the business objective, decision owners, constraints, and current technical environment.
- Evaluate the agreed priorities, risks, architecture, delivery approach, and operating responsibilities.
- Produce and review a practical decision path, roadmap, or governance recommendation for the scoped need.
Deliverables to agree
- A documented scope, priorities, constraints, and decision owners
- A reviewed technical roadmap or decision recommendation
- Known risks, operating responsibilities, and next-step handoff
What to bring to a conversation
Bring the business objective, current technical concerns, existing plans, key decision makers, and the person accountable for accepting the recommendation. Do not send credentials or sensitive records in the initial inquiry.
Scope, authority, availability, schedule, and commercial terms must be agreed explicitly. Executive authority, continuous operational ownership, on-call coverage, and delivery capacity are not implied by an initial discussion.
